Westerdam

The Westerdam - the third Vista-class ship in the Holland America Line fleet. It combines technological innovations such as a diesel-electric power plant for more economical fuel consumption, as well as the latest Azipod system, which makes the ship more maneuverable.

The main theme of the art collection on board is Dutch heritage, featuring images of historical Dutch ships, such as Henry Hudson's Half Moon, to wooden palace gates covered in silver; from a tobacco pipe carved in the shape of a woman's head to a collection of limestone figurines from Ecuador made over 5000 years ago. Contemporary works include a portrait by Andy Warhol and unique sculptures by Suzanne Holt.

The Westerdam offers everything needed for a quality and comfortable sea journey: various bars, cafes, and fine dining restaurants, a theater with performances by artists and musicians, a magnificent spa, and even The Culinary Arts Center, where you can participate in cooking shows and tastings.
