The small size of this charming ultra-luxury liner allows it to explore the most remote corners of our planet. The ship was launched in February 1989 and was purchased by Silversea Cruises in 2007, after which it underwent a multimillion-dollar refurbishment. Today, Silver Explorer is one of the most beautiful and luxurious boutique liners. It is undoubtedly one of the few cruise ships where during the day guests wrap themselves in warm parkas to go watch polar bears, walruses, and penguins, while in the evening, dressed in evening gowns and suits, they enjoy a magnificent dinner, elite champagne, and exclusive desserts, engaging in leisurely social conversations or listening to lecturers who talk about the region.

The main cruise routes of the liner are Iceland, Greenland, Spitsbergen, and the Arctic Circle in summer, and South America and Antarctica in autumn and winter. The ice-strengthened vessel is rated 1A, ensuring safe navigation through the ice. Additionally, the liner is equipped with boats designed to take passengers ashore in the most inaccessible places.

All cabins on Silver Explorer have ocean views, elegant and luxurious interiors, and excellent service, including personal butler services, as well as complimentary 24-hour room service: breakfast, lunch, or dinner can be delivered to the cabin at any time upon request without additional charge or gratuity. Wi-Fi is available in all public areas and cabins on board (for an additional fee).

Silver Explorer offers expedition cruises, journeys where guests are not only invited to visit remote corners of the planet but also to learn about the culture, history, and ecology of the regions. All shore excursions are led by specialists: historians, biologists, anthropologists, botanists, ornithologists, naturalists, and photographers. If necessary, before going ashore, guests are provided with warm parkas, waterproof backpacks, and bottles of water. On board, all passengers are provided with binoculars, and there is a powerful telescope in the Observation Lounge.

In good weather, lunch on the liner is served on the open deck, and the captain maneuvers the ship so that guests can enjoy the most beautiful and interesting views or events, such as passing whales.

After active excursions, guests can relax with a cup of tea or coffee in the Panorama Lounge while listening to live music or unwind in the small but well-equipped spa, visiting the sauna or steam room.
