Silver Spirit

The ultra-luxury liner Silver Spirit, the newest ship of Silversea Cruises and also the largest, was built and launched in 2009. The suites on Silver Spirit are the largest in the entire fleet, with 95% featuring private verandas. Other enticing innovations include the Stars Supper Club, an Asian-themed restaurant, a huge spa, a large pool, and four jacuzzis. The itineraries of the ship are incredibly appealing: they include visits to various fascinating events, such as the Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix.

For the first time on Silver Spirit, interactive television is available: guests can choose from 387 films to watch at any time. An interesting solution for placing the large flat-screen TV is that it has become a "part" of the mirror and does not take up extra space. The excellently equipped bathroom features a bathtub and a shower with both manual and automatic modes, as well as toiletries from three elite brands - Salvatore Ferragamo, Bvlgari, and Neutrogena.

Alongside the classic restaurants found on all the cruise line's ships, The Restaurant, La Terrazza, and the Pool Bar & Grill, Silver Spirit also boasts two completely new options: Stars Supper Club and the Japanese Seishin. Seishin is a unique theater: while seated at a table, guests can watch the chef prepare sushi and sashimi with meticulous precision. Guests can choose from a light menu of 4 dishes or a more substantial menu of 9 dishes, which may include signature offerings such as beef teppanyaki or carpaccio of king scallops with flying fish roe.

Stars Supper Club features five exquisite menu options representing the cuisine of five continents: poached oysters in sparkling wine, asparagus in caviar cream, roasted beetroot with gorgonzola and pine nuts, and other culinary masterpieces. At 10 PM, a jazz music concert begins in the restaurant.

Silver Spirit is the only ship in the fleet whose theater allows for large-scale Broadway-style productions. Additionally, the entertainment program changes from cruise to cruise: the company constantly invites renowned musicians and performers. A distinctive feature of the cruises, as on other Silversea ships, is the excellent lectures about the countries and cities along the itinerary.

Onboard is a modern spa offering the most comprehensive range of treatments: Botox lifts, hammam, ancient Arabic body scrubs, bamboo stick massages, acupuncture, teeth whitening, milk wraps, and much more.

Service on the ship traditionally matches the level of a six-star boutique liner. For example, the day before the cruise, all restaurant staff must pass a "test" from the chef to know the faces, names, and cabin numbers of the guests. So don't be surprised if the waiters recognize you and address you by name with such ease as if they have known you all your life.
