Seabourn Quest - one of the new luxury cruise ships of Seabourn Cruise Line, launched in June 2011. The vessel was built at the famous Italian shipyard T. Mariotti in Genoa. In 2013, the liner was upgraded: among the changes was the preparation of the ship's deck for the placement of Zodiac boats, intended for shore excursions on upcoming Antarctic cruises.
One of the unparalleled advantages of the ship is its cuisine. The beautifully designed restaurant halls are never overcrowded - not because guests are dissatisfied with the menu or the quality of the dishes, but because all public areas here are spacious and provide plenty of room for each guest. The ship's restaurants are quite comparable to the best restaurants in the world: original signature dishes are served against a backdrop of snow-white tablecloths, alabaster walls, flowing drapery, and sparkling crystal chandeliers. For guests who prefer a more casual dining style, the Colonnade buffet is recommended: interesting themed dinners featuring local cuisine are held here. On the upper deck by the pool, there is the Patio Grill, a grill bar offering a variety of grilled dishes as well as a selection of freshly baked pizzas. During cruises in warm seas, "beach" parties are held with a wide selection of barbecue and seafood dishes.
On board Seabourn Quest, there are 225 ocean-view suites, of which 197 have private verandas. All suites feature modern decor and a cozy atmosphere, largely created by the use of warm and soft chocolate, cream, and golden tones in the cabin design. Each suite has a television with an interactive multimedia system, allowing guests to watch movies from an extensive library, listen to music, and access various functions such as ordering onboard services, checking their account, and more.
The ship has a small but elegant theater where Broadway-style theatrical performances, solo performances by famous artists, and cabaret shows take place. Guests can also enjoy their time in any of the bars and lounges of Seabourn Quest, where musical evenings are held.
The spa is located on two decks and is one of the largest among cruise ships of its class. On the upper level, there are two private spa villas that can be rented for a certain period and serve as a kind of private club for a small group: here, guests can take advantage of beautician services, undergo any spa treatment, or relax in the lounge or in a separate area on the open deck.
Seabourn Quest offers a variety of other entertainment options: dance classes, complimentary mini-massages by the pool, yoga classes, sports games, cooking shows, bridge tournaments, and lectures. There is also a gallery of boutiques on board, offering the latest in fashion, souvenirs, and high-quality jewelry.
Finally, Seabourn Quest features a special platform for water sports - the Marina. If the sea is calm, guests can enjoy windsurfing, kayaking, and sailing.
