Noordam

The Noordam was launched in 2006. It combines technological innovations such as a diesel-electric power plant for more economical fuel consumption, as well as the latest Azipod system, which makes the ship more maneuverable. The Noordam is a unique example of the fusion of classic style and modern design.

On board the Noordam, you will see museum-quality paintings, such as an oil painting depicting the city of Utrecht, created in 1842, as well as a collection of contemporary photographs of musicians Dizzy Gillespie and B.B. King.

One of the most expensive works of art on board the ship is a baroque-style 17th-century mosaic commode with columns. The commode is inlaid with plates of ebony and adorned with precious stones. The Noordam is a unique example of the fusion of classic style and modern design.
