MSC World Europa, which will be launched in December 2022. MSC World Europa will be the first ship of the new World class and the largest ship in the MSC Cruises fleet, setting new design, technological, and environmental standards for cruise ships:

Innovative architecture with plenty of open spaces - up to 15,000 sq. m, leading to an open terrace at the stern, where passengers can enjoy the closeness of the sea, 65% of cabins with balconies, a pool lounge for families with children, and public areas totaling up to 40,000 sq. m;

Engines powered by liquefied natural gas - which will also be used for generating electricity and heat on board, allowing for a 30% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions compared to ships powered by conventional engines;

Advanced environmental technologies that maximize protection for the environment - a next-generation wastewater treatment system will be introduced, exceeding some of the world's strictest regulatory standards.
