Carnival Paradise

Carnival Paradise has a very interesting history. Originally, the ship was designed as a completely smoke-free cruise liner. Appropriate signs were placed on both sides and at the stern of the vessel. In 2003, the company decided to lift this ban in order to be more accommodating to smoking guests; however, the overall smoking policy on the ship remains quite strict.

The short cruises offered by Carnival Paradise sail through remarkably beautiful locations - Baja, Mexico, and the Cayman Islands - and will appeal to both young people and older travelers.

Although this rather old ship of the Carnival Cruise Lines fleet has not yet been refurbished (a complete modernization is planned for 2015), the company is doing everything possible to bring its infrastructure as close as possible to existing modern standards for cruise liners. Onboard, there are already special clubs for teenagers, an "adults-only" area on one of the upper decks, and an expanded restaurant menu featuring various options of classic steaks and seafood.

The ship features three pools, as well as a water park with a huge Twister Slide - three decks high! Both children and adults can easily lose track of time enjoying the water attractions. An essential attribute of every pool is comfortable loungers and cocktail bars - of course, only for adults.

Carnival Paradise has everything necessary for a healthy lifestyle - the ship includes a mini-golf course, a jogging track, a fitness center, steam rooms and saunas, a spa, a massage room, a beauty salon, a volleyball court, and ping-pong tables. There are also plenty of opportunities for more relaxed pastimes - a variety of board games, a video game lounge, a wonderful library, as well as satellite television. Or you can simply sit in one of the cozy lounges or bars on the ship.

Every day, you can enjoy entertainment programs and evening shows held in the large Normandie Theatre (spectacular Las Vegas-style shows) or the smaller Queen Mary Lounge. Live music can be enjoyed at the America piano bar or the United States piano bar. Gambling guests will have a great time visiting the Majestic Casino - one of the largest establishments of its kind on cruise liners.
