Zuiderdam

The Zuiderdam made its maiden voyage in 2002. It combines technological innovations such as a diesel-electric power plant for more economical fuel consumption, as well as the latest Azipod system, which makes the ship more maneuverable.

The Zuiderdam became the first ship in the global cruise fleet to offer wireless Internet access in every cabin.

In the middle of the ship is a three-deck Atrium, where a crystal seahorse is suspended from the ceiling. On board, you will see a vast array of antiques, works of art, and various decorations, including a portrait of Queen Beatrix by the iconic artist Andy Warhol, medallions by Frank Lloyd Wright, a massive floral painting by Charles Ben, and much more. The elevator doors are designed in the spirit of the interiors of the Chrysler Building in New York City.

On board the ship, you will find everything necessary for a comfortable sea journey: numerous bars, cafes, and fine dining restaurants, a theater featuring performances by professional artists and musicians, a spa, and even The Culinary Arts Center, where you can participate in cooking shows and tastings of dishes and wine.
