Anthem of the Seas is referred to as the most revolutionary cruise ship in the cruise industry. Its name can be translated as "Hymn of the Seas" or "Praise/Tribute Song to the Seas." It was built quite recently: on April 10, 2016, it marked exactly one year since Anthem set sail, making cruise voyages to the Bahamas and the Caribbean. This vessel is the latest in the Quantum series, which is characterized by innovations in technical equipment, revolutionary designs in living space, dining systems, and entertainment programs. Its construction cost 950 million dollars.
Out of 2,090 cabins, designed to accommodate 4,180 guests, 375 rooms feature virtual balconies - huge HD screens the size of an entire wall, displaying real-time ocean views outside. A novelty is the presence of adjoining modular sections for large groups and cozy solo studios for one. (Modular elements are a modern technology for equipping the ship, where fully prepared, manufactured, and equipped modules are delivered to the ship, assembled, and connected to supply systems.) The range of cabin sizes is from 15 to 152 square meters, and balcony areas range from 5 to 57 square meters; 34 cabins are equipped for passengers with limited mobility.
For thrill-seekers, in addition to the well-known Royal features - the rock climbing wall, surfing water park, and zip line, there are the RipCord by iFLY skydiving simulator and The North Star observation capsule, which elevates passengers to over 90 meters above sea level. In the indoor sports complex SeaPlex on the 16th deck, passengers will be amazed by a multitude of entertainment options and attractions, ranging from bumper car rides and roller skating to video games and circus school workshops. Another innovative space on the ship is the Two70 lounge area - a place for round-the-clock relaxation and entertainment, as well as a huge pool with a cinema under a retractable roof.
A new approach to the dining system on board is implemented in the Dynamic Dining program. Its innovations include four complimentary main restaurants serving classic and modern cuisine, with a flexible dining schedule and online ordering. Additionally, Cafe Promenade, the Devingly Decadence restaurants, Windjammer Marketplace, and The Cafe @ Two70, which operate on a "buffet" system, are also free, as well as Seaplex Doghouse, where you can grab a hot dog. The basis for the dish preparation process in the Wonderland restaurant is the ideas of "molecular gastronomy" or "molecular cuisine" - a modern scientific theory of food processing.
Concern for passenger safety and time-saving is reflected in the presence of ultra-fast internet access on board, iPad check-in, and RFID bracelets. In short, there is nothing like this on other ships yet. As stated on the official website of Royal Caribbean International: "Anthem raises the bar for the cruise industry." It is a true Las Vegas at sea and a cruise for those who love active and mind-blowing recreation.

Japanese cuisine enthusiasts are invited to the alternative restaurant Izumi. On board the cruise ship, there are two exclusive restaurants. One of them is Wonderland, whose interior and design resemble the pages of Lewis Carroll's book "Alice in Wonderland." Here, visitors with children will be amazed by the unusual presentation of dishes, but a table at Wonderland must be reserved in advance and for an additional fee. Discerning passengers looking to dine in a serene atmosphere will enjoy the small restaurant Prime Table, which has only 16 seats. However, for an additional fee, guests will be offered expensive wine and a menu of 5 exquisite dishes.
