Amsterdam

The ms Amsterdam - is the third ship of the Holland America Line that bears the name of the capital of the Netherlands. It was built in Italy in 2000 and is equipped with the latest navigation and safety systems. The individual approach and high-quality service that characterize Holland America Line, making this cruise company one of the most popular, are also evident on this ship.

The decor of the ship is done in a traditional nautical style, beautifully complemented by comfortable dark wood furniture. Most of the paintings on board are dedicated to the history of Amsterdam and Holland America Line. Dutch heritage and traditions are reflected throughout the ship in Art Deco artworks that once adorned the Nieuw Amsterdam, built in 1938. The public areas are adorned with works by contemporary artist Stefan Kard. Three beautiful wrought-iron staircases lead to the center of the ship - the three-deck oval Atrium, where bars, restaurants, and shops are concentrated. Here you will also find the Astrolabe, which depicts constellations, planets, shows world time and time on board. In the evenings, live music always plays on the ship, featuring famous bands.
