THE STORY OF THE MSC SEASCAPE SHIP'S CREATION

The MSC Seascape is a new Seaside EVO class vessel, which will be the second representative after MSC Seashore.

The ship is being built by the renowned Fincantieri Monfalcone shipyard in Italy. Work on the ship began in early 2021. In November 2021, the cruise ship was launched and moved to a wet dock for the next stage of construction. The first intensive sea trials of the engine were completed in August 2022. After the final interior finishing work inside the MSC Seascape, it will be handed over to MSC Cruises. This is scheduled to happen in November 2022.

Environmental care is a very important aspect. MSC Seascape can be called a cutting-edge ship. It is equipped with four Wärtsilä 14V 46F engines that are fitted with selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions by 90%.

The cruise ship is also equipped with a hybrid exhaust gas cleaning system, which allows it to remove 98% of sulfur oxide from emissions. The vessel features advanced waste management and ballast water treatment systems, as well as the latest technologies to prevent oil discharge from engine rooms during the cruise. The ship is equipped with a system to manage underwater noise emissions, designed to reduce its potential impact on the marine environment.

The christening ceremony for the MSC Seascape cruise ship is scheduled for December 2022. The event will take place at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal in New York (USA) and will mark the start of the inaugural season.

After the inauguration, the MSC Seascape will set sail for Miami (USA) to embark on its first cruise. The ship will spend its first cruise season in the Caribbean, offering two different seven-day itineraries.

On cruises aboard the MSC Seascape, you will have the opportunity to visit exciting places such as the Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in the Bahamas, Jamaica, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.

Onboard the MSC Seascape, you can expect exquisite dining from the finest chefs in the fleet! There are a total of 11 dining venues on the ship to suit every taste. Visits to the main restaurants and buffet are included in the cruise fare. You can also dine at alternative restaurants for an additional charge.

The menus in the main restaurants change daily. There are always vegetarian and dietary options available so that every guest can find a dish to their liking. Special gala dinners with a unique menu from the chef are also held. Dinner in the main restaurants is served in two seatings.

The Green Wave Restaurant. The main dining room of the ship is located on Deck 5. It is a large, spacious restaurant decorated in light tones with emerald accents. The atmosphere inside is luxurious. Service is à la carte. Here, you will be offered dishes from Italian, Mediterranean, and international cuisines.

Cala Jondal Restaurant. The second main restaurant, located on Deck 6. This dining room also impresses with its size. The menu includes dishes from Italian, Mediterranean, and international cuisines.

Marketplace Buffet. The buffet restaurant is conveniently located on Deck 16. It has a relaxed atmosphere, with tables set both inside and along the decks on open terraces. The restaurant is open throughout the day, and the dishes at the stations change depending on the meal. For example, at breakfast, you can find scrambled eggs, toast, pancakes, croissants, and cereals. By lunchtime, the stations feature soups, hot meat and fish dishes, pasta, burgers, and much more. There is also always a wide selection of snacks available for a quick bite between lunch and dinner.

Aurea Restaurant. A separate restaurant for passengers in Aurea category cabins.

Yacht Club Restaurant. A separate restaurant for passengers in MSC Yacht Club category cabins. The dining room exudes a luxurious atmosphere. In addition to an exquisite menu, the restaurant also boasts a fine wine list.

All themed restaurants are located on Deck 8 in the Chefs’ Court area.

Kaito Teppanyaki. An Asian cuisine restaurant with a show element. Sit at a square table where a chef will be waiting for you in the middle. You will be able to see all the intricacies of preparing your ordered dish and will receive not only culinary but also aesthetic pleasure from the experience.

Ocean Cay. A seafood restaurant for special occasions during the cruise. The dining venue is elegantly decorated with a marine theme. The menu features dishes made from all the most sought-after seafood treasures - fresh oysters, grilled fish, shrimp, crab cakes.

Butchers Cut. The classic steakhouse on the MSC Seascape features a large outdoor terrace. You will have access to an extensive wine list and a menu of premium steaks and American cuisine dishes.

Kaito Sushi. A trendy sushi bar on the MSC Seascape, perfect for a quick and delicious snack during your cruise. The bar operates on an interesting concept where pre-prepared sushi moves past guests on a conveyor belt, and visitors can take the items they like.

Hola! Tacos & Cantina. A Mexican-style café with an authentic menu. Cold margaritas, spicy tacos, fresh guacamole - all this awaits you at the Hola! Tacos & Cantina restaurant on the MSC Seascape.
