Costa Magica is no longer part of the Costa Cruises fleet. After the sale, the ship changed several owners and names. In 2026, the former Costa Magica returned to commercial service in China under the name Vision.

Costa Magica was built in 2004 as a sister ship to Costa Fortuna.

After regular operations were suspended during the pandemic, the vessel was sold by Costa Cruises to the Greek company Seajets.

In the following years, various projects were considered for the ship, and other names were used. In late 2025, the liner was purchased by the Chinese Tianjin Oriental International Cruise Company.

After repairs and modernization, in March 2026 the ship began running cruises from China under the name Vision, including itineraries to South Korea and Japan.

All the wonders of some of the most beautiful places in Italy can be found here. Costa Magica is dedicated to the magic wand of Italy, a fairytale journey through the country’s most famous and enchanting cities, with works of art from the prestigious Brera Academy.

Costa Magica is a wonderful world of celebration. You’ll see that the space and style of the common areas and swimming pools echo the features of the most beautiful places in Italy: Portofino, the Emerald Coast, Maratea, Bellagio... At the heart of life onboard is the shining “Gran Bar Salento”, with huge windows on both sides. The outdoor decks offer a stunning view and plenty of activities, so you won’t be bored for a moment. The elegant stern of the ship, with a pool and two jacuzzis, is equipped with a sliding roof, allowing you to splash around even in bad weather. Masters from the prestigious Brera Academy in Milan created a series of artworks on the theme of “magic”, which now adorn the staircases and some suites onboard. There are 1358 cabins onboard, including 464 with private balconies and 58 suites with private balconies.

Daily Port Program held on board the liner is published in a special informative mini-brochure, which is delivered to your cabin in the evening before the next day. The entertainment programs on board the liner vary and are periodically changed depending on the liner’s route and seasonality: karaoke, dance classes with trainers, special lectures on various educational topics, jewelry and goods sales, and much more.

Dining - Costa Magica

The cruise price includes meals onboard with a staggered dinner system, i.e. dinners take place in 2 sittings - at 19:00 and 21:15 respectively. There are 4 restaurants onboard in total:
2 main restaurants (included in the price): Costa Smeralda Restaurant and Portofino Restaurant, where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served. They are located at the stern and in the center of the liner. As well as a buffet - The Bellagio Buffet Restaurant, which operates on the “buffet” system.
Alternative restaurant (requires additional table booking - 25 euros per person): The Vincenza Tavernetta Club.
There are 11 bars onboard, including the Cognac & Cigar Bar.

Attention! The evening buffet is open until 17:30. The section with sandwiches is open from 17:00 to 18:00. Pizza at the buffet (for an additional charge of 4 euros) is available from 18:30 to 23:00. During the time when the buffet is closed, the coolers and coffee machines in the buffet also do not work.

Entertainment - Costa Magica

On board Costa liners you will find entertainment for the whole family. Gyms, pools, running tracks, or sports courts will always provide opportunities for exercise. Themed parties, White Parties with cocktails by the pool, and daily discos will keep the young ones from getting bored. Tips - Costa Magica

A service charge (tips) is applied on board every day and added to the cabin account, for all fares. Amount: 11 € per person per night from age 15; 5.50 € per child aged 4-14; children under 4 do not pay. On some ships and routes the amount is different (in US dollars), and Costa has announced new amounts for departures from 1 December 2026; your manager will confirm the exact amount for your cruise.

«Brindiamo» - from 30 euros per person per day
(from 18 years old) for those of you who like to relax with your favorite drink throughout the day. Coffee and cappuccino, soft drinks and refreshing beer, popular aperitifs and a wide selection of wines and alcoholic beverages.
Does not include premium brands and items from the minibar in your cabin.

«Russian Drink Package» from 32 euros per person per day

«Più Gusto» from 35 euros per person per day

Even the youngest guests can enjoy a wide selection of drinks that can be had throughout the day. Some of the most popular non-alcoholic beverages, smoothies and delicious hot chocolate are perfect after a tournament or an afternoon snack.

Kids’ Clubs - Costa Magica

On Costa Cruises ships, professional animators organize the work of 4 different clubs for children of various ages. Participation in children’s clubs is FREE OF CHARGE! Children need to be registered in the club on the first day of the cruise.

Mini Club (from 3 to 6 years) and Maxi Club (from 7 to 11 years) have their own dedicated areas and their own pools on some ships. The clubs run in the morning, after lunch and in the evenings. Upon request, the service “Parents on Excursions, Children in the Club” is available.

Teen Programs (from 12 to 14 years) and the Youth (from 15 to 17 years) club programs help you find new friends during the holidays.

The clubs operate on a schedule from 9:00 to 12:00, from 15:00 to 18:00, and from 21:00 to 23:30.

For infants (from 6 months to 2 years) visiting the children’s room is permitted with mandatory adult supervision. Multi-deck liners are ideal for parents with infants and toddlers in prams, who can set sail on a cruise from 6 months. The ships are equipped with spacious elevators and cabins, wide outdoor decks, free walking paths, and corridors. Upon request, the following are available:
- cots and cradles, baby bathtubs, the option to prepare baby food in the cabin, children’s high chairs in restaurants, bottle warmers, the option to order baby food preparation in the restaurant. You can also order private nanny services for an additional fee.
