The ship was built in 1991 as Costa Classica. After a modernization in 2014, it was renamed Costa neoClassica.

In 2018, the liner left Costa Cruises and began operating as Grand Classica.

After the creation of the Margaritaville at Sea cruise brand, the ship was renamed Margaritaville at Sea Paradise.

The liner continues commercial operations and carries out short cruises from Florida to the Bahamas and other destinations in the Caribbean region.

Costa Cruises is expanding its neo collection with yet another liner - Costa neoClassica. By December 2014, the Costa Classica will undergo a full renovation and will be renamed Costa neoClassica, joining Costa neoRiviera and Costa neoRomantica, to offer cruises on unique itineraries full of even more breathtaking natural landscapes and wonderful cultural landmarks in places inaccessible to large cruise ships. As with all liners in the neo collection, Costa neoClassica has features that make a vacation on these ships truly special. First, the liners have special itineraries. The small size of the ships allows them to call at smaller ports. The duration of stays in these ports is increased: often the ship stays for 2 days in the most interesting ports, offering the opportunity to go on excursions to places where tourists on other liners cannot reach due to a lack of time for such excursions. Excursions are organized in small groups, making visits to historical sites much more comfortable. Also, on all neo collection liners there is a special approach to dining. You do not need to choose a mealtime, as you can visit the restaurant at any time convenient for you. And the menu is designed taking into account the ports visited. Thus, guests can sample dishes from national cuisines. And all guests can take advantage of the concierge service. On board there are 654 cabins, including 10 suites with private balconies. 2 restaurants and 7 bars. A wellness center with a gym, treatment rooms, a sauna, and a Turkish bath. 2 swimming pools, 4 jacuzzis. A theater, a casino, a disco, shops. For children under 18, kids’ clubs are available.

Daily port-of-call program held onboard the liner is published in a special informative mini-brochure delivered to your cabin in the evening before the next day. The onboard entertainment programs are diverse and periodically change depending on the liner’s itinerary and seasonality: karaoke, dance classes with trainers, special lectures on various educational topics, jewelry and goods sales, and much more.

The cruise price includes onboard meals under the “All Inclusive” system with a free choice of dishes during dinner. On the ships of the neoCollection, a specially prepared menu has been created in collaboration with the University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo. You can order a special diabetic and gluten-free menu.

Tips - Costa neoClassica

A service charge (tips) is applied on board every day and added to the cabin account, for all fares. Amount: 11 € per person per night from age 15; 5.50 € per child aged 4-14; children under 4 do not pay. On some ships and routes the amount is different (in US dollars), and Costa has announced new amounts for departures from 1 December 2026; your manager will confirm the exact amount for your cruise.

Drinks Packages - Costa neoClassica

The cruise company recommends having three types of clothing during your journey:

everyday clothes for rest and sports activities (casual),

clothes and footwear for excursions depending on the season and route features (sport and casual)

elegant clothing for evening visits to restaurants and evening events: shows, casinos, clubs, bars (smart casual “more strict” and formal “strict”).

During formal evenings, cocktail dresses for women and suits with a tie for men are welcome.

During evening events, the cruise company does not approve being in beachwear: shorts, flip-flops, and sneakers.

Kids’ Clubs - Costa neoClassica

On Costa Cruises’ liners, professional animators organize activities for children across 4 different clubs for various age groups. Participation in children’s clubs is FREE OF CHARGE! Children must be registered for the club on the first day of the cruise.

Mini Club (from 3 to 6 years) and Maxi Club (from 7 to 11 years) have their own dedicated facilities and their own pools on some ships. The clubs operate in the morning, after lunch, and in the evening. By request, the service “Parents on Excursions, Children in the Club” is available.

The programs of the Teen Club (from 12 to 14 years) and Youth Club (from 15 to 17 years) help young people make new friends during the holidays.

The clubs operate according to a schedule daily from 9:00 to 12:00, from 15:00 to 18:00, and from 21:00 to 23:30.

For infants (from 6 months to 2 years), visiting the children’s room is allowed with mandatory adult supervision. Multi-deck liners are ideal for parents traveling with infants and toddlers in strollers, who can embark on a cruise from 6 months. The ships are equipped with spacious elevators and cabins, wide outdoor decks, and free walking paths and corridors. On request, the following are available:
- cots and cradles, baby bathtubs, the option to prepare baby food in the cabin, high chairs in restaurants, bottle warmers, the possibility to order meals prepared for your child in the restaurant. Private babysitting services can also be booked for an additional fee.

You can choose one of three cabin categories with a different set of options included in the price: Classic, Premium, Suite.

For guests of all Classic cabin categories:
