Costa neoRiviera operated as part of Costa Cruises until 2019.

After leaving Costa, the ship was transferred to another Carnival Corporation brand-AIDA Cruises-and was renamed AIDAmira.

In 2022, the liner was purchased by the British Ambassador Cruise Line. After modernization in 2023, the ship began operating under the name Ambition.

Ambition continues to operate as part of Ambassador Cruise Line and runs cruises mainly from ports in the United Kingdom.

An increased duration of port stays: often the ship stays in the most interesting ports for 2 days, offering the opportunity to join excursions to places that are inaccessible to passengers of other liners due to lack of time for such excursions. Excursions are arranged in small groups, making visits to historic sites much more comfortable. Also on all liners in the neo collection there is a special approach to dining. You do not need to choose a dining sitting, because you can visit the restaurant at any time that suits you. And the menu is formed taking into account visits to the ports. Meanwhile, the Costa neoRiviera liner itself is a ship that was fully renovated in 2013: the Gran Mistral liner of the subsidiary cruise company Costa Cruises - IberoCruceros. On Costa Cruises liners, professional entertainers work to organize the activities of 4 different clubs for children of different ages. Participation in the kids’ clubs is FREE OF CHARGE! Children must be registered for the club on the first day of the cruise.

Mini Club (from 3 to 6 years) and Maxi Club (from 7 to 11 years) have their own dedicated areas and their own pools on some ships. The clubs run in the morning, after lunch, and in the evenings. On request, the service “Parents on Excursions, Kids in the Club” is available.

The Youth (from 12 to 14 years) and Teens (from 15 to 17 years) club programs help you find new friends during your vacation.
