The ship was built in 2000 and became the third vessel of Oceania Cruises. In 2010, Nautica underwent a major refurbishment. With this renovation, the company practically created a new ship with its own unique warm and friendly character. This character is evident in everything - from the especially caring attitude of the staff towards guests, to the excellent signature menu developed by the renowned chef Jacques Pépin, and, of course, in the interiors of the public areas and cabins of the ship that seem to envelop you with tenderness and affection. Rich fabrics and exquisite furniture, the finest finishing materials, as well as decorative porcelain, silver, and crystal from the most famous companies in the world were used in the creation of the ship's interiors.

It is no coincidence that upon boarding, guests are greeted by a large banner: “Welcome Home!” The captain and the crew of the ship warmly and friendly welcome guests on board. However, this attitude is felt not only on the first day but throughout the entire cruise. A special atmosphere is created by the constant direct communication with passengers from all members of the crew - from the captain to the simple waiter. There is no pretentiousness on board, which is often characteristic of cruise companies of this class, but the service and cuisine fully meet the standards of six-star boutique liners. This is the main distinguishing feature of Oceania Cruises: luxurious service at moderate prices without excessive pomp.

On Nautica, there are four main restaurants with diverse menus, several bars and lounges, including a pool bar on the open deck, as well as a large lounge with a great view of the ocean where traditional afternoon tea is served.

There are also other essential places on board that are indispensable for any cruise - the magnificent Mandara Spa, a well-equipped fitness center, and a number of entertainment venues. Throughout the day, various interactive activities with passengers are held on the ship - games, contests, so no one will be bored. At the same time, passengers also have places to retreat to: for example, in the quiet and comfortable library with a vast selection of books and cozy armchairs. The ship also has many board games.

A journey on Nautica is a wonderful opportunity not only to see new countries and cities but also to learn many new things, such as playing bridge or processing photographs… or creating magnificent embroidery! Throughout the cruise, various educational courses and workshops are held on board to suit all tastes.

Nautica is a cruise ship more suited for older passengers and middle-aged couples. There are no special programs or clubs for children and teenagers, and considering the more educational rather than entertaining focus of the itineraries, young passengers are unlikely to feel comfortable.
