Costa Serena: an Italian cruise with the character of ancient myths
Costa Serena combines sea voyages, Italian gastronomy and striking interiors inspired by ancient mythology. The Concordia-class liner was built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Genoa, and joined the Costa Cruises fleet in 2007.
After the 2025 renovation, the mythological theme received a fresh reinterpretation in a pop-art style. Public areas now feature vibrant colors, unusual sculptures and lighting accents. The updates covered restaurants, poolside areas and suites, while the culinary offering was complemented by Archipelago, Pummid’Oro and Sushino at Costa.
